About James
James is married to Victoria and they have two daughters, India and Xanthe. James grew up at high altitude in the hymalayas, this may explain a few things! In his late teens, James' faith in Christ came alive. God put a burden on his heart for his peers and young people that has not gone away. James and family live just outside the sunny city of Aberdeen in Scotland. He's been part of the City Church leadership for 10 years 7 of them on staff. James has been involved the Billy Graham Emerging Evangelists Institute leadership team and has recently stepped back to free up more time. More recently James has been involved in establishing a Street Pastors initiative locally and is one of the national directors of the movement. James has had the opportunity to speak and minister here in the UK and abroad and takes teams into Sri Lanka, working and ministering with partnering churches.
James' desire is:
- To engage with the Ipod generation using relevant communication of the Gospel, making it accessible, understandable and tangible.
- To be a resource to the Church and to see it encouraged, equipped and enabled, to effectively reach out and connect with people.
